We are designing materials for teachers and teacher educators to independently run Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions and sessions during teacher training programs, both for primary and secondary education. Below you can find power point slides with notes and worksheets for different CPD sessions. The development of these have been informed by the findings of this project and by the many productive conversations we had with education practitioners during the workshops we ran.
CPD-session ‘Inequalities, misperceptions and misunderstandings’
This set of power points slides accompanied by a worksheet guide through a session that can last between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours including three activities (group and individual) and some plenary discussions. It aims to provide space and a bit of guidance for more general and individual student-focused reflections on how one sees a student, how the student perceives themselves and how this is connected with student-teacher relationships and interaction.
